Memphis Area Dulcimer Club Members:
Our last meeting of the year was held onSunday afternoon; December 3 from 3-5 p. m. in a member’s home.
We played Christmas tunes on the mountain dulcimer, enjoyed group singing and a time offellowship. We also enjoyed some tastey, holiday goodies and soft drinks, too!
Some of the tunes we played were:
The Coventry Carol; JingleBells; Cold is the Morning and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Song sheets were provided (containing some chords) to those who wished to play or simply sing along.
It was a heartwarming experience. We have afriendly, fun group of dulcimer players, and we would love to welcomenew players!
