Memphis Area Mountain Dulcimer Club Members:
Our next meeting will be Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 3 to 5 pm at Carla’s house.
At this meeting we will not play any new songs; well, we will if you want to. I am not planning to bring any new tab, rather, we will play YOUR old favorites. Would it be possible for you to “kick off” the tune you suggest? You could play the last measure, simply count 1,2,3,4 or whatever you want to do to get us started. On the other hand, if you don’t feel comfortable doing this don’t worry, Mary Nell or I will get us started, just mention your favorite tune you want to play. If you do have tab for a song we don’t currently play you may bring it. Have about 12 copies so Carla doesn’t have to use her copy machine.
At any rate, we should have a good time.

Most of you received the email from Lee Cagle about Jeff Hames, Erin Rogers and Amber Rogers being at Fiddlers Green on Tuesday, June 5 from 10am to 2pm. Each will be having a one hour workshop; cost is $15 per workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to get some instruction in mountain dulcimer or fiddle by these talented young people.
